1w Camp to take weekend off

The team has had some un-forecasted issues arrive and thus the 1w will stay tucked away yet another weekend in the Towanda, Illinois stable. Donny’s next scheduled race will be next Friday April 20th at the Farmer City Raceway for a NALMS event.

Walden set to compete in the Bohlander Tribute at Peoria Speedway

After taking this last weekend off, Donny and his team are preparing to compete in the 5th Annual “Don Bohlander Tribute” race at Peoria Speedway, which will be held on Saturday, April 14. The race will be a benefit for the “Don Bohlander Parkinson’s FundRACERS” charity, and will kick off the 10 race “Budweiser UMP Super Late Model Series” at Peoria Speedway. “Peoria is just one of those places that’s always been good to us, but we’ve never came through all the way in a big show there, hopefully by taking this last weekend off , we will be 100% prepared for this race and we can get a solid finish.” Donny commented on next weekends contest. Donny struggled at the Illini 100 in Farmer City qualifying 30th among the 53 entrees, and finishing 9th in his heat race, and suffering a flat right rear Hoosier in the early stages on the consolation race, sending the 1w Rocket entree back up into his hauler and thus having to sit on the sidelines and watch the 100 lapper. Wisconsin’s Jimmy Mars collected the $20,000 first place prize.
